Best starter kit. Get yours while they last.

Originally $80 this kits is great to get started on. The line is most important and this kit offers great Cortland line even enters lvl is great. Cortland offers great quality products at a reasonable and affordable price. Cortland Net is also exemplary. The rod is great for tight coverage and even big streams. Casts really well. No cork handle but that's not important. Rod is a gloss graphite carbon construction well balanced. There is no better starter kit. Be gentle on the reel handle. Also recommend upgrading the reel in the future for the backing and the line is still great quality.
