LifeStride Womens Brooks Faux Leather Western Knee-High Boots

Received these as a gift. I'm a true 6.5W (wide width) with bunions and I need low heel, I have small calves and ankles. I was so excited I found these, they feel super lightweight, not heavy at all. Then… I realized they fit like a size 7.5W. When my foot is fully in the toe box, I have about two fingers of space between my heel and the heel inside of the boot. I would size down a full size and order multiple sizes to try on. My feet slide around in them. These are way too long in length of the foot and a bit too much room in the instep and ankle they appear ill-fitting. I don't even need to unzip the zipper I can slide my calves in them they're so big. I'm 5'00” the boot height goes right up to below my knee, sits perfectly. If I could exchange these, I would. 😭 3/5 stars because a lot of boots don't offer wide width to accommodate bunions. I need a pair of shoes for work that look elevated and don't compromise my foot health.
