Early one Saturday morning, Kenzi slowly opened one blue eye and then the other, squinting and hiding from the sun as it streamed in through her bedroom window. Kenzi smiled when she remembered what her family would be doing on this special Saturday. Thus begins the story of a magical day in the life of seven-year-old Kenzi. After a nearby forest was burned the previous year, she and her family volunteer in their community's first-ever reforestation project.
