POLYWOOD Vineyard 5-Piece Farmhouse Dining Set in White

First off, we have bought other pieces of Polywood furniture, two backless benches which I use as flower benches, and a bench with backrest which was sold at Costco, plus we have Adirondack chairs and small side tables of the same material but bought at different stores but which may have been made at Polywood. The Adirondack chairs and side tables we have had for over 20 years, outside all year long, and they still look and function great. This is what I love about this kind of outdoor furniture, the low maintenance (I have done nothing other than washing the chairs and tables), and that it does not look tacky at all. All of these pieces get 5 stars. Now, most recently we bought this dining set. The setup, as always, was a snap. The one issue I have has to do with the measurements of the chairs, specifically the hight of the armrests. I have problems with my shoulders and I had wanted chairs with arm rests specifically for that reason, to be able to rest my arms, take the strain off of my shoulders, and relax. I am 5'5", and my elbows have zero contact with these armrests. Now when I put the Polywood chair cushions on the chairs it gets even worse, only just my wrists and a couple of inches up from them make contact with the armrests. There is no way I can sit back and relax with my arms on the armrest, that is highly uncomfortable. I suppose it is my fault to not pay too much attention to the given measurements at the time I placed the order and just presuming the chairs would be like any other "normal" chairs. I wish Polywood offered arm rest cushions! Preferably matching the seat cushions.
