My daughter uses this for the “slick back” look for playing sports. She doesn't worry about her hair coming out at all. The hold is excellent. She is a pitcher for softball so she is constantly moving every pitch, while wearing her face mask. Zero issues with hair! this gel made my hair thicker now I can't comb it but I love this stuff just minorly need to moist my hair and aply does flake some dries up after some hours but can always re wet hair to get shining again
