The Motorola router is very reliable and this purchase was a repeat purchase to replace the one I had for six years (no issues). The router can be installed to the Network by powering up, plug in the ethernet cable, and use a cell phone to connect to the internet provider. My home has several items connected and it has plenty of capacity to handle. Also, the unit can handle a ethernet or coaxial cable hook up.

I purchased this modem/router to replace some outdated equipment. I had some complex equipment and complicated network. I took everything apart and installed this modem/router after doing research. I wanted 1 piece of equipment that handled both modem and router duties. It was also a high priority for me to get an appliance that was super simple and easy to set up. If you are a gamer and want the ability to change many settings and like complex stuff this is not for you. However, if you want something in one package, super simple and solid tech that does a great job for your home internet this is definitely for you. Activation through Spectrum was also so simple I could hardly believe it. I did it through the Spectrum app and never had to call a rep. Thank you, Motorola!
