This is a great, great lamp and a wonderful “decorating” item. It's quite heavy, made of wrought iron (lamp base) and shade is a pleated, very heavy acrylic. The lamp has two heights that can be achieved by using one “pole”, or screwing in the second “pole“. The instructions that come with the lamp are pretty scant— must be able to decipher the instructional pictures on the box. Going back to the site gives more, far more, information than that which is sent with the lamp. That's a minor thing. This lamp is pretty simple to figure out how it works and how to put together. At $21.99 as of 12/24, this's a great purchase. It's the absolute answer to where one wants to have light but has no outlet. Manufacturer even states that this can be used outside in damp weather. How long a charge lasts apparently depends, as the site page states, on which of the 3 levels of light is being used. This's handsome enough to be offered as a gift. Was delivered in short amount of time, was the correct item, color.
