This laptop isn't bad for the money, I find it semi-pleasant to type on, though it's very small. I have bigger palms than finger length so it can be annoying. Hitting the trackpad isn't nearly as bad as say HP, but it can happen. And like HP this PC has no shut off button for the trackpad. Another word of caution this uses a decent processor, and though it's nothing super powerful or flashy. it's powerful enough to make the bottom of the computer run ultra hot. Yes hot enough to fry an egg on. And this wouldn't be an issue if it had a FAN. Remember this, and fanless units do not last a long time, heat plus electronic=problems. This is the main reason I'm not keeping it. And there is no way to know, especially when they don't keep them on display. Overall the speed is decent enough to get through basic internet tasks, but if there are ad's then you can count on it lagging. Maybe not the worst I've seen, but certainly not a barn burner. Which it isn't meant to be. I'm a speed typist and as I get through this I do like the keyboard. Speakers are also VERY loud, and clear. Though like most, you encounter distortion the louder you put them. I don't use the touch screen much, and if so I recommend one of the soft tipped pens. For Tablets and phones. But since I'm probably taking this back, it won't matter for me. It's an almost purchase and I kind of recommend it, but then again not really. So it's a love/hate relationship. Both for me. And not one more than another. Screen is also nice and birght, and crisp. And the actual HDD of 500gigs is good as well. Though I can't see this being priced over 249$. At 329$, it's still just to much imo. And I prefer my large HP 17.3 laptop over this. Being this can be hard on the eyes. But feels comfortable on the lap, except the extreme heat. No matter what you're doing. They do have more power I3 versions, which would be the way to go. Then again they problem have heat sinks, or a fan, or both. So it's good, but for those getting one just beware of this one major issue.
