This book is about hope—hope for the human condition. It is a hope rooted in the wisdom of four great spiritual traditions: Jewish, Christian, Sufi, and Dakota. Despite their different religious and doctrinal backgrounds, on a spiritual level these four traditions demonstrate an amazing agreement on human values.
