We bought this pergola for some shade in the back corner of my yard in Chicago! We also bought it to keep the alley light from hitting us while we were enjoying our little couch area and it's worked out really well we have since added lights and yeah you know it came a little dinged up but I expect that from this type of furniture. You definitely need a couple people adults to put it together at one point but it goes together pretty well we had one corner that we couldn't quite screw but it feels structurally sound.

I'm very pleased with my pergola. It was not difficult to assemble. But was easier as a two person job. Handy Assembly service sent 2 people who did a great job. Fabric slides easily from side to side to shut out the sun. It is anchored to my deck and is quite comfortable. I would definitely purchase it again.

Owned for 3 months , it was a good purchase, the rain will pool into the gaps, but it doesn't leak. Would have like the ability to replace canopy with another color or in the future its starts deteriorating from age and sun. If anyone knows how to purchase just the canopy, please share
