I was looking for a sophisticated frame to display my grandson's football picture for a gift. This frame was sturdy, not cheap looking. It could either be hung on a wall or stand on a table. The backing was well made for standing on the table. I don't feel it will buckle-in over time. I chose a brighter silver frame color than the pewter gray choice, that brought out the highlights of the picture perfectly.
