GMC bike

have not got a chance to ride it yet but the bike appears to be well made and suited for a big guy. I'm 260 lbs and I don't feel like I'm to big for it. until I ride it I can't give a five star rating not at this time.

Fast and Good Looks but not Comfortable

Pros: Delivery was prompt. Since I have a set of metric tools and a bike repair stand, assembly was no problem. The GMC Denali road bike (made by Kent) looks sharp. Cons: I felt sort of “scrunched up” on the Denali since the headset to seat post length is 5 to 6 inches shorter than my other bikes. With its narrow 32mm wide tires and skinny frame, the bike felt fragile. Since there are no quick releases on the seat post or wheels, I realized that any adjustments or repairs on a ride would require a set of wrenches. There is no suspension whatsoever, not even the seat post. The seat has no anatomic relief and the handlebar grips are not ergonomic. Seemed like a painful bike to ride. All things considered, I returned the Denali road bike to a local Walmart store (no problems with the return) and ordered a Mongoose MTB from Walmart instead. It's a keeper, more in tune with my 70-year-old body.

problem

The front wheel rubbed against the Dérailleur cable and the frame . Took the bike back to the store .
