ARP 2084305 High Performance 12-Point Cylinder Head Stud Kit

If these things were a bit less expensive I would use them on EVERYTHING! These studs have almost twice as much thread contact area as the OE head bolts. When you are torqueing them down you can feel they have better holding power and control of the actual clamping force. They are amazing! I used them because I was concerned about the threads in one head bolt hole. The bolt did not feel right when torqueing it. I did not want to try any thread repair for this, and the price of the stud kit was only a little bit more than a thread repair kit. This was MUCH faster, easier to use and WAY stronger. I have always heard these are the BEST way to clamp down a cylinder head. Now I know!
