Good Paint, But Nozzle Spits

The paint is high quality, but the nozzle spits no matter what. I bought a drill powered mixer, cleaned the nozzle carefully and held the can upright and it would still spit regularly. I had 2 separate cans and both did it. The paint job turned out ok despite that but still.
