Making the ornaments is not difficult and each mitten measures 4" x 4.5" while the stockings measure approximately 4.5" x 5.5". These ornaments are finished with the tops opened so they can be used as gift card holders. Pieces are cut using templates included in the pattern. The cut pieces are then appliqued in place following the illustrated instructions. Decorative stitches can be added if desired according to your taste.
