These bags are a great value for the price. They are not the most durable bags as far as strength or resistance to ripping . But they hold up fairly well for the quantity and price. What bothered me the most about the trash bags was the smell. It has a potent smell when you first open the box that is unpleasant in my opinion and it takes a while for the box of bags to air out. Despite the smell I will continue to buy the bags as they hold up for what I need and are not as thin as other cheaper bags . They are not made to try to stretch and will catch on pointy object but I can say I've never had one on the ties break when using the bags, which for me is one of the most frustrating things when it comes to taking out the trash.

these bags are strong! I use 1 to take out old cat litter where as a nother brand I would use 3 so that it didn't rip!very hefty and quick tie..very tough,
