[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Maven Lane barstool chair complimentary for review from Influenster and Maven Lane. To start, this barstool came in a large box. It was secured in the box tightly for extra care during shipping. I received the Hugo counter height stool (31"), weathered oak finish w/ avanti bone vegan leather upholstery.
This chair is absolutely beautiful. The color is gorgeous and neutral, and the vegan leather upholstery makes for easy clean-ups. What completes the look is the button tuffed upholestry siding. The perfect amount of hand crafted detail to set this stool over the top. This barstool came in 2 pieces plus the additional hardware needed to put it together. It is very simple and easy to put together. The legs are already together, so all you do it attach the seat to the leg base with the 4 bolts and washers, and you're done. It took my husband about 5 minutes from start to finish. Both the back support and seat cushion are nicely padded and hold up to 300 lbs. Firm but still comfortable and supportive. The swivel/rotate mechanism is also a great feature. You can eat and still entertain and face your guests with the memory 180 swivel. Overall, for the price you are paying for this barstool, you are getting a great, well-made, hand-crafted barstool chair. From the materials, to the swivel to the overall appearance is well worth the price.
