OVERVIEW

The Toyo Celsius is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Toyo offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. This is an all season tire that has received the three mountain peak and snowflake symbol for its exceptional performance in harsh winter conditions as well. The asymmetric tread design has an outer and inner area with varying siping density. The outer area features less sipes and it offers great dry and wet traction. The inner area sports a high siping density which boosts the models ice and snow traction. The multi-wave siping design and the snow claws also enhance the winter traction, while the tires compound maintains its flexibility in all weather, making this a truly all season tire. The wide circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire footprint.

The tread patterns full depth multi-wave siping design extends the tread life. These sipes evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area. The equal circulation of the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively prevent irregular wear patterns from forming across the tread area. The longer lasting even wear and full depth sipe details extend the tread life and usability. The even wear on the tires ensures a quiet drive. The even wear, along with the staggered tread block design, negates the road noise heard while the tires are in motion. This is achieved as the tread design creates a sound frequency that negates the road noise heard in the vehicles cabin.

The tread designs outer area increases the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The outer tread area features a low density siping detail that allows the tread to enhance the steering responsiveness and accuracy. The steering is swift and precise in its response to the drivers commands, allowing the driver to confidently control the vehicle in all weather. The maintained road contact also stabilizes the tire against the driving pressure in all conditions to ensure a more secure driving experience.

The Celsius tread design features visual alignment indicators. These are different depth lines locates across the tread, from one shoulder to the other. They wear out as the tire is used and their wear pattern visually represents the vehicles alignment. If their wear is identical on both shoulders, the alignment is correct. However, if their wear differs then the vehicles alignment is out of line and it needs to be fixed before the tire adopts an uneven wear pattern.
