Craft County's Dye Your Own Macrame Kit comes with your choice of dye color and your size of rope! Choose from 35 vibrant liquid colors of dye and two different sizes of rope. You can use this dye on cotton, linen, silk, wool, and nylon. You can even dye wood, wicker, paper, and cork for more DIY fun! The kit comes with 1/2 inch or 1/4 inch diameter rope that is 80 feet in length and you can dye and turn into unique home and office decor, holiday or party celebration decor, and much more! Our macrame rope is 100% made from cotton and will dye nicely with this Rit Liquid Dye. 

Dying this rope into your color, the different thickness of the rope may effect the coverage of the inside strands. the 1/2 inch diameter rope doesn't allow the color to fully penetrate into the cord. 

Pre-wash fabric to remove any stains or finishes on the fabric. For every pound of dry fabric then you will use 1/2 bottle (4 ounces) of dye with 3 gallons of the hottest water that is safe for fabric. Must have enough water to let the fabric move freely around and to get a darker color or a more intense color, double the dye quantity.
