Love the unique aesthetic

I bought this because I desperately needed a home for my many extra books and also because I matches a certain aesthetic in my office. It does come in a million pieces, but the instructions are some of the easiest to follow and well written that I've come across. The instructions are VERY detailed and if you follow them and pay attention putting this together goes quickly and easily. Each shelf fits around 12-14 average sized books. As far as cheap shelves go, this one is unique and has extra fittings which add to its durability. The instability comes from forward/back/side to side motion and it would be critical to secure it to the wall if you have animals or children (kit to secure comes with).
