A good solution for us
We're using the heater for our bird bath, saving us from having to empty a dish of ice on colder mornings and allowing the birds to drink before we get up to provide service. Night-time temps here are 20-25F / 0 to minus 10 Celsius at this time of year. The water is heated and steaming, just warm enough to stay liquid.
