Rowan Twin Bed Dark Bronze

I love the iron bed I recently purchased from Haynedlle. My only complaint was that it was a little difficult to assemble. However, that being said I would highly recommend it to others. It is strong, sturdy and beautiful to the eye and a great value for the money. It arrived earlier than promised and was a pleasant surprise.

The bed is exactly as pictured. Getting it to my house was something else. I ordered on Monday, August 25, and it was supposed to be delivered on Saturday, August 30. FedEx didn't receive the item until late Friday, August 29. That is when a red flag went up. In checking FedEx updates, I discovered the item was shipped Walmart.com 3rd Party DSV. On Walmart's website it clearly states sold and shipped by Walmart. It wasn't delivered on Saturday, August 30. FedEx shows delivery on Sunday, August 31. It doesn't show up on Sunday, August 31. Now FedEx is showing it will be delivered on Tuesday, September 2. It shows on FedEx out for delivery in the morning and I check later in the day, and it says there is an exception, and it was taken back to the FedEx facility. So, I was unhappy and talked with several Walmart people on chat and a few were nice but there was one in particular that was rude. I finally had enough and called Walmart about getting a refund and called FedEx to see what was going on. FedEx said there was damage, and they were taking it back to their facility for inspection and the inspection sometimes takes 24 to 48 hours. I told Walmart I was fed up and wanted a refund and they told me to call FedEx and tell them I wanted to cancel delivery, and then FedEx will let them know what is going on and then Walmart will do a refund. FedEx then says no I need to talk to Walmart and tell them blah blah blah. So here I was without a bed or refund. First of all, had I known there was a third party involved from the beginning I would not have ordered it. I totally put the blame on Walmart regarding this 3rd Party DSV. I was told by Walmart I would have to wait 48 hours before they could give me refund and I have to call them back to request refund. They don't make a note of it and call me back; it is my responsibility to call them back. So, I was impatiently waiting for Friday so I could call Walmart back and request a refund. Thursday, September 4 I get an update from FedEx showing it is out for delivery again. I'm thinking yeah sure they are going to deliver a damaged item. They deliver until 8:00 p.m. My husband had already said they will deliver it late when it is dark so you can't see the packaging very well. Low and behold they deliver just a little before 8:00 p.m. I was made to feel like all of this mess was my responsibility, not Walmart or FedEx. This Friday morning, September 5 we unpacked the bed. It had some areas where the paint was rubbed off, but I decided I could live with it because it kind of adds to the antique look of it. Be vigilant when shopping on Walmart's website. This particular 3rd Party DSV waited until Friday, August 29 to ship something out that was ordered on Monday, August 25 . All of this reflects on Walmart, and I have been a customer for a long time, longer in regard to shopping at their stores. Bed is great.
