Well made, has a few flaws

The bed is very sturdy. There are quite a few pieces so it takes a bit of time to assemble. Because it is a platform bed that means it doesn't require a box spring, however, if your mattress is too thin it will slide under the headboard and create a gap at the footboard exposing the slats. Also, the mattress slides VERY easy. We bought this for my 3 year old so we have to be very careful not to lean up against the mattress or it will slide off the bed.
