[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been cooking for a long time, and I've used a lot of different skillets over the years. But I've never used a skillet that I like better than the Bayou Classic 12 Inch Square Cast Iron Cooking Skillet Pan with Helper Handle. This skillet is made of heavy-duty cast iron, so it's built to last. It can handle high heat and heavy use, and it's not going to warp or crack. The square shape is perfect for cooking large batches of food, and the helper handle makes it easy to move the skillet around in the kitchen. I've cooked everything from pancakes to steaks in this skillet, and it's always turned out great. The cast iron distributes heat evenly, so my food cooks evenly and doesn't burn.
