I like this curtain rod but……..

It's difficult to tell the size, shape, color, texture, fabric etc. when purchasing items online. I chose this curtain rod for its style and color but when I took it out of the box I discovered that the finials (look it up) are way too big for our small bathroom so the whole curtain rod looks weird. Also the hardware that the rod sits in sticks out too far so it allows too much light to filter in through the sides of the curtain. Wish I could attach a photo. Very hard to tell these things from online photos. My bad. I didn't return the rod bc it's too much hassle to go to a store to look for one that fits better. Not an expensive rod so I'll live with it.
