We bought the poles also getting the lanterns up in air gave us plenty of light for setting up tents. We bought 5 and that was more than we needed. Great product and works as advertised.

Sturdy, well-made, bright and adjustable output
Purchased two units, one for home emergencies and one for my RV. Love the collapsable design, battery disconnect, and brightness modes. Would have liked to have received the rubber protector on the handle (in all the pictures) to soften the metal against my arthritic hands. Don't know why they stopped providing that. Otherwise love it!
