This is superior to ALL the products on the market. It isn't the least expensive initially, but comparatively speaking. You use 1/3 the amount each time, so its NOT more expensive in the long run. It is soft, does not fluff/dust you out with particles, like Charmin does. It doesn't leave balled chunks after using. I could literally write a short story on the benefits of this product. I feel like this is the best value for strength and softness. The cheaper stuff doesn't hold up well. Other brands that are soft are too expensive. This Is the best of both worlds at a reasonable price point. We have used thos for years now after trying many brands.
