Works well for M1 MBP for dual display

All I am looking for is a docking solution that allows me to connect two 1080p monitors to my MBP and charge at the same time using a single cable. I tried the famous CalDigit TS3 plus. The main display via display link worked well but the second display via an Apple media adapter and HDMI failed to be recognized 30% of the time when I reconnect my laptop to the dock. I need disconnect and reconnect the adapter or the dock to make the second screen to work. It was probably the Apple HDMI adapter that caused the issue. Nevertheless, I switched to this Monoprice TB3 dock and connected both monitor via DisplayLink, the issue goes a way. Like other described, the temperature of the dock is a bit hot and it only charges my laptop at 60W. However, those are issues I can live with. Not to mention this is much cheaper than many other docks. It would be great if it can have a few more USB-C ports in future versions.

Excellent single-cable, dual display dock for 2019 MacBook Pro

This is precisely the thunderbolt I hoped Monoprice would make. One cable to my laptop, and I have two 4K screens running at 60Hz, various accessories connected via USB, etc. running smoothly and promptly with no particular effort after plugging it in. Just about the only configuration necessary (on initial setup only): the ethernet appears in the macOS UI as a “USB 10/100/1000 LAN” connection. It wasn't immediately obvious that that was the connection for my dock, but some poking around in the System Information app revealed that it was the one I wanted.

Great value for money

Bought this for its value vs price. most Thunderbolt docking stations are either very expensive from good brands or cheap from no name brands on amazon. This docking station works very well with my Dell Precision and XPS laptops. I can use 2 external displays, an 32 in LG 4K monitor and a 24in Dell 1080p monitor along with the laptop display with no problem at all. Only drawback is the dock has just 4 USB ports. That is an easy fix with a USB hub. I Just wish monoprice would make some reasonably priced displays for business use.
