(2 pack) Mainstays 5-Shelf Bookcase with Adjustable Shelves, Canyon Walnut

The Mainstays 5-Shelf bookcase in Oak has a nice look and came in good condition. It comes packed in deteriorating styrofoam, however, so you might plan on adding another 15 minutes to the 1 hour assembly time for vacuuming all the styrofoam particles. Like others, I experienced a slight discrepancy when installing the back panel. The instructions imply it is all-so exact if you follow their steps, which includes a nail-holder, but then it doesn't line up the way it should - and there is chance of splitting a panel with a nail. It would be best if they didn't include the nail-holder, and not even mark the holes, and allow the assembler to judge the edge margins. The concept for installing the back panel may have been well-intended - and even considered an improvement - but the follow-through was poor. In order to use the nail-holder or the marked holes, everything has to be more exact. As is, it would be better to have the hole placements indicated with a hash mark and let the assembler decide the edge margins. And leave out the nail-holder, it only threw me off.

Missing panel and unable to get the correct one sent. The phone number voice box was always full, therefore unable to get the necessary part to build. Had to use the duplicate for that was for the left to do the right side. the front then was unfinished and looks awful!
