As a now retired, former IT professional, I have purchased and installed many desktop and server room UPS. APC is a brand I have had good success with. when the battery died in my old UPS, I decided to upgrade to a model that took up less desk space. It supports a 14" laptop, a 34" monitor, an ink jet printer, and misc. USB perifrials without issue.
