Includes 1.5lbs of ceramic filler media
This combination-package includes 1.5 pounds of Polly Plastics ceramic cylinders for protecting and cushioning fragile stones while tumbling. These small, angle-cut cylinders help fill gaps between rocks so your load tumbles with a smoother action. This improves the grinding and polishing in the rotating barrel and helps prevent your stones from being bruised.

Each grit in our rock tumbling grit kit has a different purpose:
Step 1 (Coarse): This stage knocks down all the rough surfaces and reshapes your rocks into more round-looking stones.
Step 2 (Medium): This grit also helps remove any scratches, cracks, or dimples on the surface.
Step 3 (Pre-polish): This grit will completely smooth out the rocks but won't give them a high shine.
Step 4 (Polish): This grit gives your rocks a dazzling shine and a beautiful finish.

Important: Grit is sold by weight, according to how much is needed in each step. Steps 1 & 2 are 1 lb. each and Steps 3 & 4 are ½ lb. each but all are sold in the same size jars for packaging consistency. The different weights, along with different densities, will mean that jars will not have equal amounts of fullness.
