When I first opened the box, I was disappointed. I could see a lot of green and not a lot of flock. The lights were on white strings and didn't seem very well done. However, since it was already December 10th I figured I wouldn't pull it out and give it a chance and if I hated it, I'd send it back. Wow!! My first impression was SO wrong. This tree is absolutely stunning! It has three different types of branches, and the different textures really add to the overall beauty. It is thickly flocked on the top of the branches, but not on the other side. What's great about this is that it doesn't make a huge mess and if I want a little bit more green, I can just rotate the branch over. I went with a 9 foot tree and I meticulously fluffed each branch. It took me about 4 hours. I do love that I could put it together myself and that I didn't need help lifting the pieces in place. Honestly, I'm really picky when it comes to trees and the only thing that I don't love about this tree is the lights. They are a great warm, white light, but I just wish there were more and that they were installed better. Lights should start at the center. Go out the branch and back to the center, and then to the next branch. These ones jump from branch to branch midway, making it hard to fluff one row at a time. Either way it is worth the money and it really is the kind of tree you see in the high-end home decor stores.
