excellent steel, includes washer to keep bolt from bouncing loose on rough terrain. Which is how I. lost mine in the 1st.place. John Deere didnt use a washer until recently. Makes all the difference. In fact if you are experiencing your mowing deck becoming unbalanced every time u hit an ant hill change both sides out
