A great universal remote with macros you can setup to aid others in operating a larger more complicated system. You can turn your devices on and off when not at home with your smartphone. Controls smart home devices as well.
I love My Harmony Elite Remote
I had a Harmony One remote for years and upgraded to the Harmony Elite a year ago. It operates off of the Wi-fi system, so that you can use it to operate equipment in other rooms. It comes with a hub and two infrared eyes. The software contains commands for thousands for different pieces of equipment. Works with Lutron lights and Sonos too. It's an amazing remote, and the best thing about it is you can program it with your own computer instead of having to hire someone to program it for you. You can also use their app to put the same functions on your iphone or ipad. I find the iPad app is especially convenient for equipment like AV processors that have many commands that require multiple screens on the hand held remote.

Refurbished but saved $100. Looks like new. Memory was NOT erased by seller. There is a procedure on Harmony website to set back to factory original settings that erased previous user. Had it a week and all appears to be working correctly.
