Close to end of life date

The flavor is great, my grandkids love them, but I purchased them for school lunches. Ordered mid July, and the expiration date is August. I think they sent me the oldest ones they had in stock.

Very disappointed

Cookies did not taste like the original they were very light and seemed undercooked. They were crumbly and tasted stale. Couldn't find an expiration date. Had to throw them out.
