The batteries for the remote control are not included in the package. Please prepare two AAA batteries before use.

The memory function will only remember the color of the light if you use it for more than 30 seconds and turn it back on after it has been off for at least 30 seconds. If you turn it on and off frequently, the light will default to the fact that you are changing the color of the light.
