Chums LTD Original Cotton Eyeglass Retainer, Realtree Edge

I've tried the typical eyeglass retainers with the little black, small, rubber-band type holders that you slip onto the bow, but no matter where I buy them from, they never last more than two weeks if even that. The little rubber bands always stretch out, and tightening them only lasts so long too. I got so sick and tired of having my glasses slip out of the bands and dangle or fall right out of the bands and fall on the floor where they end up getting scratched. It's a huge annoyance. Not anymore. I saw these and though they cost considerably more than the other kind, they are SO WORTH it. As soon as I received these I put them on my glasses…you have to slowly and gently push them onto the bow until they are halfway on or near the end of the bow, whichever you prefer. I wore my glasses around my neck every day for almost two weeks with this retainer on, and the retainer didn't slip at ALL. Woo-hoo! It's the small things! I can't claim that it will hold this well for everyone, maybe if the bow on your glasses is very thin, this may not work, I don't know. I'm just letting everyone know how well it works for me; I hope it works well for everyone who tries it.

Soft cotton eyeglass retainer is gentle on ears. It might take some getting used to, but the quality seems well-made.
