A beautiful and practical bread knife from the Miyabi Koh series. Any knives with the Miyabi name on it is a superb knife, and the Koh knives mix both German engineering and steel with Japanese craftsmanship to make the best knives around. A nice, thin blade with the Friodur process applied, so you know it stays sharp, strong and corrosion free. The Pakkawood handle only adds to its beauty, comfort and functionality.

Not Your Mama's Bread Knife!

Hand-crafted in Seki Japan by artisans skilled in the acient art of sword making. How is that for impressive? I always buy my bread baked by a local baker. The loaves come out with a very crispy crust which is part of the charm. This knife slices right through the crust with ease and does not tear the bread, but slices smoothly. Made of FC61, this blade is sharp, durable, and retains the sharpness for longer. I will have this for years to come.
