Birds Choice Ohio Stoneware Weather Resistant Ceramic Clay Pedestal Bird Bath, 22"H x 17"D, Summer Green

This birdbath is simple and beautiful, and the smooth glazed surface is very easy to clean. We just tip out the old water, wipe with a paper towel, and rinse. The midnight blue color blends in with the natural garden colors, so if you want your birdbath to be more noticeable, then go with the red, or with the brighter green color. The basin does fit a bit loosely on top of the pedestal. We're not really sure if that is intended. So take care when moving or emptying. (It would be very helpful if Ohio Stoneware would design-in some unobtrusive handholds under the basin for more security when handling this large and potentially slippery item.)

This is great little bird bath. The colors are slightly more muted than pictured, which I think is a good thing. It came quickly and very well packaged, no damage. Looks great in our butterfly garden and provides a place for the various pollinators to get a drink and also for the birds. It cost significantly less than the bird baths at the local nurseries, but it's also a bit more lightweight. The base is hollow, but a brick could easily be placed in the base to provide extra weight/support if there was a concern about tipping.
