I actually found this chair on Amazon.com, but wanted it right away, so I checked with Walmart, who not only had the chair in stock at the local Walmart, but it was $30 cheaper at Walmart! The chair is quite compact and relatively light in weight - I think about 4 pounds. It sets up and tears down quickly. It is pretty close to the ground. I am 67, and getting up out of the chair is not as easy as sliding out of a chair of normal height, but it is doable. I bought this to take on hikes because I have neuropathy in my legs and feet and cannot walk long distances or be on my feet long periods of time. This fits in my backpack along with my water bottle. I found it difficult to get it folded back into the compact size it was out of the box. Still, it is not too bulky. It will serve the purpose I bought it for, but this is not something I would want to sit on for hours at a time.
