It's great for reheating food items but since I only needed one,mI found a great use for the others, I do a lot of knitting and find they are perfect for holding wound balks of yarn. The lids have a small hole that is perfect for threading the yarn through thus you can knit or crochet without the yarn rolling all over the place…it stays where you put it. I love it!

The size is perfect for soup, oatmeal, chilli, chicken %26 dumplings, cold cereal, etc. I use mine for just about everything. Don't you just hate those bowls that won't hold a whole can of soup? Well this bowl does! They're easy to hold with the handle on it. The vented lid locks down and is vented which makes it great for heating in the microwave.
