Well: I can't read. It is black. I did not want black. I had no idea there was such thing as black, but that is why you read. Oh well. When we got it out of the box, I continued to think it was just a really, really dark green. I am hoping that I can get away with that, we will see. It might pass as dark green in a dim lighted room. How is the tree made. I was very pleased. It was well made, and when I fluffed it up; there was a lot of coverage . So, it is a good tree, and if you are into Halloween fir trees and Christmas you can combine the two with one tree, cause it might pass as dark green.
