Very beautiful bed and good quality for the price
I bought this platform bed basically because the price was very good, and it was all I could fit into my budget. I was pleased that it arrived several days before expected delivery date. I was also surprised that the box it came in, though heavy was not very big. But all the pieces were there. I don't recommend this bed for anyone who does not have the time or the patience to assemble it. Luckily, my husband and son worked together on this and were able to set the bed up in around an hour or so. They actually enjoyed doing this project and when they were finished. not only did I love how the bed looked, so did they. The mattress fits perfectly on it. You can have your comforter hang over the edges of the bed or tuck the comforter under the mattress so you can see the beautiful black trim of the bed, that is how I like it. It really is a beautiful bed and my son loves it. I am extremely happy with this purchase. I do not have anything negative to say about this bed. It's perfect.

I bought this bed several years ago for my room, then bought it in a different color with other pieces as a housewarming gift when my son and daughter-in-law moved into their first house. The ones bought previously worked out so well that I just bought it again for my granddaughter's room in my house. This will be perfect for when she's at my house, I have other company, and as she gets older it will be adaptable as her styles change.

Took forever to assemble!
The shipment was surprisingly fast. It came in 3 days. It looks very nice but it was such a hassle to assemble. I'm a pretty average bodied female and I carried the box and assembled the bed by myself. With mistakes and all, it took about 2.5 hours. I wanted to smash it once I was done out of frustration. Hopefully it stays up! ;)
