Navigator Series Men and Women's Lightweight 21" Aluminum Frame Snowshoe Pair, Ratchet Binding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This attractive set of snowshoes pleasantly exceeded my expectations. Great flotation, easy maneuverability and great grip for snowy uphill hikes. The top bindings are similar to ski/snowboard bindings but it also has a back strap made of seatbelt-like material with a large buckle that makes it easy to slip on and off. Great for mountaineering where you can easily switch gear and secure to backpack for an efficient adventure. Plus, it's very lightweight so won't weigh you down if you carry on your backpack. It comes with its own carry bag and snow baskets for your poles. Huge bang for your buck!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tested out the Cascade Mountain Tech 825 snowshoes on a recent snowshoe escapade near Mount Hood, Oregon, and was thoroughly impressed. Their performance in deep snow exceeded my expectations in every way. The bindings on the 825 snowshoes are incredibly comfortable and easy to adjust. I didn't experience any slippage, and they were easy to release and remove as needed. The frame is very lightweight and ergonomic, but also durable. I didn't notice any damage after encountering rocks and branches on the trail. I might consider purchasing the 930 shoes next only because with a full pack + my body weight, I exceed the 200lb weight limit of the 825's. But for day trips, and price, the 825's are a fantastic deal.
