Verified Purchase
The system for loading and tightening the chain is quite effective and easy to use, and the chain oiling mechanism works quite well. Overall a good value for an effective tool, and it performs better than the electric chainsaw that I owned previously. I had a slow start because the battery would not charge and turned out to be defective; the manufacturer got a new one to me in 3 days. So I was happy with the customer support from the manufacturer as well.

Hurricane cleanup was a breeze!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wish I would have gotten pictures both before and after. When the hurricane came through this year, we had some tree damage and big limbs down in the yard. The husband had this chainsaw charged and ready to go. He said it was easy to use and made clean up less of a hassle. Limbs were cut, burned and now I have a back yard again. Thankful for the little things and no major damage. What a perfect tool to have if you live anywhere near the coast and have trees in your yard.

Powerful mini beast!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Omg, I looooove this little beast!! It's compact and electric but powerful! I no longer have to wait for my husband to chop down tree branches/help with the yard work. I can literally charge the battery, pop it in the unit, hit the button, and bam it's on and choppin! Im done in a flash. Very very happy I was blessed with the opportunity to try this out. I will definitely be purchasing some other products from CAT since this chain saw was impressive!!
