Sauder Steel River Industrial Desktop Hutch, Carbon Oak Finish

Box weighs 80lbs. Put it together myself, but a 2nd set of hands to hold everything together helps, especially because it's so bulky and heavy. Love the industrial/vintage look. Didn't have the desk so I placed it on a Kallax and it fit perfectly. Will be buying more from this collection. Piece is heavy, don't expect to move it unless you're moving out.

First of, this is for the hutch only....not the desk and hutch for those who think that way. Second, it is large and super heavy for a hutch. The box itself was 83lbs....considering I weight 96lbs, that is really heavy. I only read the dimensions and not the weight so I was surprised when it came. My son helped laid it on the ground and I brought 1 piece into the home at a time. It is very well built and designed. All pre-drilled holes lined up with screws. Now, becareful as they give the exact amount of screws so if you lose one, you are very screwed! The instructions are very clear for each piece/step and matching screws...even tells you to watch out for certain direction of the pieces. It is not hard to put together but rather time consuming as this has many little parts that needs to be put together. Overall, it took me about 1-1.5 hours by myself to put the whole thing together. However I can't lift it afterwards and had to wait for my kids to come and help carried it up. It is super large, very nicely built, very heavy and great for my dolls and for photography background. It is large and heavy enough to be a stand alone piece except a bit short. So read carefully before buying....I love it so much myself and it was actually fun for a little vintage lady like me to put together.
