Interior Light Switch - Compatible with 2010 - 2011 Honda Accord Crosstour

I was hesitant to try replacing a component of the dome light assembly, but this worked perfectly and was so much cheaper than the Honda part. Actually, Honda did not even sell this component of the dome light assembly by itself. They only wanted to sell the entire assembly, so purchasing this part was actually a double savings.

The first time the map light went out the Honda was under warranty. Honda replaced the whole housing unit. The second time it went out (after warranty), Honda could replace the whole housing unit for $100. They would sell me the housing unit for $85. I told Honda I only wanted to pay $15. Honda then lowered their price somehow to $65. I left Honda on Friday at 4:30pm, ordered the switch from Parts Geek, a pair was in my mailbox Monday by noon. The switch was very easy to install and for a fraction of the price. A few good videos online make it simple. Just search map light switch to find the videos. I have a 2010 Honda Pilot Touring model. I will definitely order from Parts Geek again.
