I bought these leggings for my granddaughter to wear under her school uniform in cold weather. They are a nice soft cotton. She usually wears a size 5 so I bought the xs (4-5) and they are a little snug. Will order a larger size next time. Of course she will be bigger by then.

Girls XL makes a good substitute for womens small

I am a woman who wears size 4, and I took a chance and bought two pairs of these in girls size XL, or 14-16, even though I am above the recommended weight on the size chart. I'm so glad I did, because they fit me perfectly, and I got them for a better price and with more color options than buying a women's small. The only thing I don't like is that the size tag says XL, so I'll just cut it off and they'll be perfect!
