Received the tree when I tried to put it together the lights were wrapped soo tight the limbs wouldn't fluff! I spent 4 days removing all the lights on each section and replacing them after fluffing the branches. After all my hard work the tree looked amazing!!! I almost returned it because of this issue. It takes a lot of fluffing and time to get the tree to look like the photos. The lights aren't fully connected but is a string of lights wrapped around branches. The best look is to unravel/unwrap the lights from the branches to fully fluff the tree out. It is a bit thinner than pictured. However, with effort and time the tree can turn out like the photo.
