It's a good book for an intermediate player. I am more of an advanced player so I was a little disappointed. However I must say that it does combine the melody with the arrangement which is nice since not all books do that. If you wanted to play and sing using this book i feel it would be harder because they changed the notes to a higher pitch in the arrangement, though they do have the cords above if you want to do it that way.
